Barcelona to Host Inaugural Fixture at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday
The club confirmed they are set to host at the partially upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league two and a half years following their departure so building work could begin.

The stadium will not be at full capacity with 45,401 fans can be present as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed finished work included an updated entryway for the team plus modern locker rooms.
Preparatory Events
Barcelona held an open training session at the Camp Nou on 7 November. They mentioned they are seeking authorization from Uefa to host the next European match against Eintracht Frankfurt next month at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
